Ends and Starts

Summer leaving, long days gone,
Like embers cooling down,
Settling, crackling, rustling sound,
Distant chimes, routines and trains,
People, programs, and chains,
All too enough to blame, numbing drain.
Living lives, nining with the fives,
Glowing with the rhythm,
Breathing through the dimes,
Blowing away the minds,
Finding lines, more rhymes,
Bouncing against the chain
Straining for the plain.
Loving still the same.
